i got a brief email of encouragement today.

i was told i need to read the bible, but the correct bible before it's to late.

the sign that the end is close is very obvious-(gay marriage is legal) .

Those aged, over-used paste and cut "recommendations" from "scholars" are not what they seem, but most of you folks already know that. Most of them are not even recognized scholars with any respect in academia.
Here's a test for any JW That starts spouting off "quotes" and blurbs from authorities...Ask them, who are your favorite Bible scholars, past and present? How do they compare with the most respected ones in the field today? Can you name them?

That's good to know Caleb. I think I will try that next time. But I better get familiar with who are the respected scholars today.

Where are all these New Anointed Ones Coming from?

back in the early 70s, right before 1975 we had about 7 or 8 thousand professed anointed.

If any anointed fell away, then probably someone who had been tested for years, would be chosen rather than some new convert.

Now that number has at least doubled???

In my old hall there are now two young brothers in their early 20s who are partaking of the emblems and wine and they are ministerial servants. In the adjoining hall there is a sister in her 20s also professing to be of the anointed and her father is an elder.

I talked to these kids and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with them mentally. One even got married less than a year ago to a sister who I believe is 19 years old. She still hangs around with the teenage kids and got spoken to by the elders because one of her teenage friends turned her in because she was bragging that “Once you’ve had an anointed in bed, you never go back to the great crowd”

Anyway I asked one of them, “Why would Jehovah pick you instead of the old brother in your hall who is in his 80s, been an elder since the 70s, been in jail for the neutrality issue, and pioneered for years?

He answers, “Well I can’t answer that but I can tell you this, Jehovah reads the heart”

I find it interesting that when they studied to get baptized, they were directed to paradise earth. Nevertheless they of their own free will have chosen to go to heaven and rule all of humankind. And they REALLY, BELIEVE THIS.

So what’s up with that? Does anyone have any clues why many are choosing to go to heaven instead of paradise earth?

I believe she is about to hit her 80s. It's really sad, I met her when I was a teen and I've seen her grow old. I heard her always say the words,

"The end will probably be here next year for sure"

Who oversees the money for the WT?

when the wt sells property for a billion dollars profit, who decides what that money is going to be used for?.

when all the money comes in from all the kingdom halls bank accounts worldwide, did all that money go into one big account and who has authority to spend it and cut some checks to whoever?

when all the monthly donations come in to the watchtower headquarters, who decides distribution, and to who?

Yes, that's her, she is still in Bethel and I just saw her a few months ago. I believe she has been there at least 55 years. She is a little worried they might kick her out. I know all her sisters, they all became JWs in their teens. One got disfellowship and never went back. I feel so sorry for all those ladies, it just kills me. They have no idea the WT stole their lives.

Well if you have people blindingly following you as some uniquely special seer to god, you might as well take advantage of that illusion toward more exploitive means and that might be finance.
